Message From The CEO
The Overture Group is committed to developing world-class “I AM” (Independent, Assisted Memory Care) Residences across Canada that will cater to active and engaged seniors. This strategy enables seniors to live and age in place in an environment that offers comfort, safety, care and a wide variety of amenities to meet individual wants and needs.

To recognize the challenges of aging and empower seniors, and persons living with dementia or Alzheimers, to flourish providing support when and how it is needed without infringing upon their independence. Allowing seniors to enjoy retirement living that reflects their individual needs and desires, promoting their independence resulting in a high quality of life for all our seniors.

Don McLeod
Managing Director
Don’s experience in property development can be traced back to 1984, during his time with Marathon Realty Corp., then with PCI Realty Ltd. As a successful information technology entrepreneur, Don steadily built up corporate business and real estate experience, soon playing a central role in all facets of several multi-million dollar property developments in British Columbia, mostly in the retirement living and seniors housing real estate sector. The installation of smart systems in the developments he worked on raised automation to levels not yet seen in senior’s healthcare. In particular, a multi-serial port computer that sent important messages directly to key staff around ongoing issues like fire alarms, nurse calls, lighting, heating, ventilation, was revolutionary, streamlining how retirement homes operated from a communications perspective. With an expansive knowledge of property development – from sourcing and vetting acquisition opportunities, through overseeing construction, with a particular eye set on system integration, especially on the IT side, then on to marketing and sales – Don’s expertise in tandem with the Overture Development Inc. team means taking the best from past builds and applying those lessons to Overture projects, managing everyone involved, leading through every step of the process to successful completion.

Thomas Crump
Chairman of the Board
Tom Crump brings over 40 years of experience at the highest levels of hospital care administration, both in the private and public sectors. In particular, Tom has a real understanding of present and future market trends in the development of retirement communities, as baby boomers start to hit retirement age. Knowing what the expectations of boomers will be in the near future, especially when talking about key points like building quality standards and lifestyle options, means Overture Development Inc. will be in an even stronger position to effectively plan and execute building projects to the benefit of all stakeholders.

Mike Rathbone
Director of Corporate and Human Resources
Mike Rathbone has an HR Management Diploma (Cum Laude) from Demontfort University in the UK.
He has more than 2 decades of experience in Human Resources, Facilities and Strategic Management in international environments for companies such as De Beers Consolidated Mining, Etihad and Qatar Airways where he held roles at executive levels.
Mike’s international experience as well as broad skillset will make a valuable contribution to Overture. He will be responsible for supporting the development initiatives of Overture Investments as well as designing and overseeing the implementation of all Human Resources Strategies for the Overture Group of companies.
